Registrar/CEO

Professor Udo Herbert holds B.Agric. (Animal Science) (UNN), M.Sc. Animal Science and Ph.D. Animal Physiology (UI) degrees.  He pioneered research on the construction and evaluation of an artificial vagina for collecting rabbit semen in Nigeria. His research focus is on assisted reproductive technologies and reproductive management of farm animals. Professor Herbert was National President of the Nigerian Society for Animal Production and Nigeria’s Representative in the Standing Committee of the International Congress on Animal Reproduction

2024 ANNUAL PRACTICING LICENSE (APL)

Dear Esteemed Member,

The Annual Practicing License (APL) is issued to registered members (RAS and AAS) and this qualifies such a member to practice for the year of issue.

Kindly be informed that only members whose names are on the List of eligible members that can print 2023 MCPE certificate which is on the Institute website (www.nias.gov.ng) that will be eligible to pay and print the 2024 APL.

All payment must also be made through individual portal on the website.

Please note that the deadline of payment for APL is 31st December, 2023.

Any payments after this date will attract a penalty fee of #20,000 for late payment.

Kindly find attached procedure for the printing of Annual Practicing License.

Click on Login, select role “Member”
User ID : RAS/ number(example, RAS/0****)
Password: password (in lowercase)
Create a unique password.

Please upload a recent passport photograph (jpeg) on a white or red background that will be used for your subsequent Annual Practicing License Production.
